Feeding A Leopard Gecko: Raising Feeder Insects
  Background Information
Raising your own feeder insects is extremely easy and can take up very little of your time. Not only can it help you save money by raising your own, but you can also rest easy knowing what type of conditions your insects are being raised in and what food they have been given.  Feeder insects raised in unsanitary conditions can actually be a common source of a variety of parasites such as pinworms and other potentially harmful pathogens.

When housed and maintained properly, most feeder insects are relatively odorless and will actually reproduce very quickly so you can always have the food you need on hand.

Dr. Gecko is constantly working on new guides to raising various feeder insects.  Please choose from the list below to learn more about raising a particular feeder insect.
